Provided: Gloves, shovels, rakes, water, light refreshments, fun, and a chance to meet other neighbors!
Bring: Water bottle and pick axe (if you have one!)
No children for this event.
The Nashville Tree Foundation Green Shirts are special volunteer leaders who help teach others how to plant a tree, and supervise tree plantings at events throughout the year. Training includes instruction on planting and watering techniques, safety measures and tool use. Volunteer supervision methods are also included so the Green Shirts become skilled event leaders. After you complete the course, you’ll be invited to help lead an event.
