First Day of Spring Cherry Tree Pruning Event

The Nashville Tree Foundation Green Shirts team worked with us to prune the Yoshino cherry trees along Murphy/46th on Sunday, March 20th. About 30 neighbors and supporters joined us on the first day of spring for this event. A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped with this project!

We’re working with local horticulturists, nonprofits and neighbors to create a plan that will maintain the healthy trees that we have, and to plant new trees. If you’re interested in helping with the Sylvan Park Tree Project (design, planting, pruning, watering), please email: spna@sylvanpark.org.
